'Cuz We're Cousins

Courtesy of that contemporary tool qui s'appelle facebook, spearheaded by Soeur, we arranged a mini family reunion with two of our first cousins.  Grace and Christine's father is one of our father's two younger brothers.  Word has it that our fathers never got along growing up so it was no wonder that even though they lived a short three-hour drive from Philadelphia and Grace went to school twenty minutes away from our parents', our families probably spent a total of a dozen days together while growing up.  What a shame.  We're not that far apart in age and would probably have had a lot of fun together.

Setting aside our parents' differences, it was nice spending time with my little yuh-dong-saengs (props for my version of Kor-English) and we had a fun time getting to know one another over Keun-Jip Korean and Pinkberry.  They are sweet girls.  

And then we all rolled back to our respective lives.

I hope this intermission period is not as long as it has been in the past because who knows what will happen in another seven years.
