Pricey Denim

The Gap Outlet sells men's loose boot fit jeans for $29.99. The Gap sells the same for $58.00. Old Navy's version sells for $25.00, $20 if you catch them on sale. Same company, right? So why the major price differences? Don't even get me started on how much designer jeans cost. What is it about denim that beckons people to drop so much cash on a pair of blue pants that, in my opinion, aren't even comfortable? I hope consumers realize that they're paying for cheap woven dyed cotton originally designed for manual labor - a far cry from any runway.
