MoMA

Saw this cute couple sitting cozy in my frame.  Hesitated because I usually like to ask for permission prior to the shutter going off; something about not wanting to be intrusive, I guess.  But then you have to deal with posing in that awful unnatural way that's so contrived and awkward and you lose the whole moment that attracted you to them as potential subjects in the first place.  Aigoo.  So I lived in the moment and took the shot anyway without permission, before or after.  And I'm glad I did because they're kind of perfectly beautiful right here in this very moment just being.  It is because it is and no one needs permission to witness that.
