I actually went back down to the lobby to take this shot this evening. The local floral shop blew up at our front desk. (I haven't a clue why.)  I hope the girls whose flowers are hidden in those cardboard Proflowers boxes on the floor don't feel slighted.  They probably hold long-stemmed roses, but really, I've never understood the lure of the stem.  Isn't it the bloom that catches your eye?  And smells so divine?
